When Sony launched the PlayStation 4, Sony equip the new generation console with 500 GB hard drive. For most gamers, a capacity of 500 GB is more than enough. However, there are gamers feel the shortage of capacity.
Realizing this, the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in 2015 which took place this week in Las Vegas, the company announced a new way Nyko accessories expand the memory capacity of the PS4. With the name Data Bank, it is more appropriate PS4 accessories arguably hard drive dock.
Data Bank allows gamers to replace the 2.5-inch internal hard drive to hard drive 3.5 inch PS4. This could be a solution for those who frequently install or store the game data in storage. Because, basically, a 3.5-inch hard drive has a larger storage capacity, faster, and cheaper than the 2.5-inch hard drives.
"Our goal is to expand what could possibly be used by the hardware game. This time, we chose a different aspect of our earlier console accessories, such as data storage and communication tool," said Chris Arbogast, Director of Marketing at Nyko.
Type Pad is used in a way to plug into the bottom of the Dualshock controller 4. When the battery is depleted, Type Pad can be recharged using a micro USB. Just like Data Bank, Type Pad is expected to release in mid-2015.
